Cashier
Jerk Fry City is looking for friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashiers to join our team. Cashiers are responsible for providing excellent customer service, accurately processing orders and payments, and helping create a welcoming experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers with a positive and welcoming attitude.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate the POS/cash register system and process cash, credit/debit, and other payments.
- Answer customer questions about menu items, pricing, and specials.
- Ensure orders are entered correctly and communicated to the kitchen.
- Prepare and package customer orders when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked cashier/front-counter area.
- Assist with dine-in, takeout, delivery, and online orders.
- Work with kitchen staff to ensure orders are completed accurately and promptly.
- Handle customer concerns professionally and notify management when assistance is needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures.
- Complete opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout each shift.
Qualifications
- Previous cashier or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
