Physical Therapist (PT) – Clinic Director Steady Strides Medical Institute | Baltimore, MD About the Opportunity Steady Strides Medical Institute is seeking a Clinic Director-level Physical Therapist to join a growing, physiatry-led rehabilitation practice focused on geriatric care, fall prevention, and functional outcomes . This is a hybrid clinical + leadership role for a high-level PT who wants to practice at an advanced level while helping build and scale a differentiated model of care. What You’ll Do Clinical Care Treat medically complex patients, including: Falls, gait and balance disorders Stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and neurologic conditions Frailty, deconditioning, and functional decline Pain impacting mobility and independence Work in a collaborative, physiatry-led team model Focus on functional outcomes and real-world recovery , not volume Clinic Leadership Serve as Clinic Director overseeing daily clinical operations Maintain high standards for patient care and outcomes Help optimize workflows, efficiency, and team performance Mentor and develop therapy staff as the clinic grows Education & Residency Program Collaborate with the PT Residency Program Director Participate in mentoring, case discussions, and clinical teaching Contribute to development of a structured advanced training program in geriatric rehabilitation Research & Program Development Participate in clinical research initiatives (fall prevention, functional outcomes) Contribute to protocol development and quality improvement Engage in a model that integrates clinical care with data and outcomes Growth & Expansion Opportunity to help develop and launch additional clinic locations Participate in building systems, teams, and clinical strategy Clear pathway toward regional leadership responsibilities for strong performers Clinical Focus Geriatric rehabilitation and fall prevention Neurologic rehabilitation (stroke, Parkinson’s, neuropathy) Functional decline and post-hospital care Musculoskeletal conditions impacting mobility Why This Role Stands Out Physiatry-led, team-based model (not siloed PT practice) Exposure to the full care continuum (clinic, hospital transitions, subacute, community) Integration of clinical care, research, and education Leadership role with real growth potential , not just title Opportunity to shape a next-generation rehabilitation model Qualifications Licensed Physical Therapist (DPT preferred) Strong clinical reasoning and interest in complex care Experience or interest in geriatrics, neurology, or functional rehabilitation Leadership experience or demonstrated leadership potential Compensation Competitive base salary + performance incentives Leadership growth pathway aligned with clinic expansion Opportunities for academic and research involvement How to Apply Submit your resume and a brief note on your interest in the role.
