We are looking for dedicated and skilled bartenders to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to join a truly service driven environment and contribute your passion about service. This position is meant for a bartender who is focused on hospitality and creating an exceptional dining experience, with an interest in creating handcrafted cocktails. Our bar is a seemingly endless library of spirits, hosted by a staff of passionate, hospitable and very talented individuals. The ideal candidate is as comfortable mixing cocktails as they are serving and explaining food and wine. Greet guests, create an enjoyable lasting impression; manage guest requests, food orders, enter and deliver orders, accurately calculate tabs, operate the POS system and exchange money

Prepare cocktails, pour wine and beer, in a consistent fashion to Shore Lodge specifications

Anticipate guests' needs and provide appropriate service

Deliver food and beverage orders accurately and timely

Check identification to verify legal age requirements for all customers

Place orders for liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies, maintain a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories

Clean and organize the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to streamline processes and maintain a sanitary environment

Slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks and prepare and serve snacks, or other food items for customers

Recognize potential intoxication, restrict alcohol intake and attempt to curtail inappropriate behavior

Know Shore Lodge's history, McCall and the surrounding area well enough to help familiarize out of town guests with our local offerings

Assist other team members as needed

6 months of bartending experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, or private club preferred.

Knowledge of liquors, their makeup, history, and flavor profile

Able to communicate effectively with and receive information from guests and team members

Ability to multi-task while being highly organized and detail oriented

Excellent customer service and cash handling skills

Ability to carry on multiple conversations while mixing drinks, and effective use of a POS system

Lifting supplies or equipment of thirty (30) pounds or more, frequent periods of pushing, pulling, bending, stooping and upward reaching and prolonged periods of standing and walking

Functional knowledge of food techniques for preparation
