Seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician with IV certification to support infusion pharmacy operations in Murfreesboro, TN. This opportunity offers an 8-week contract with the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance.


The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare intravenous (IV) medications and fill prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Assist in prepackaging medications for dispensing, adhering to regulatory standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with Billing Supervisor to enter prescription data for reimbursement processing.
• Support Pharmacist in final verification of filled prescriptions, including packaging and coordinating timely delivery.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by receiving medications, rotating stock, and recording lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Ensure a clean and safe work environment; assist in equipment calibration, safety checks, and cleanliness.

Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacy Technician license required.
• IV certification and prior IV preparation experience mandatory.
• National certification preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within regulatory guidelines.
