Medical Science Liaison Oncology

Location: Denver, CO, United States Responsibilities Confer with internal stakeholders and build collaborative relationships with medical and scientific leaders. Respond to medical information requests from Key Opinion Leaders and other HCPs with clear, informative, fair-balanced, and compliant scientific responses. Serve as a medical and subject-area expert to internal and external stakeholders. Establish, cultivate, and maintain scientific relationships while developing a strong understanding of clinical practice in the area of interest for the client. Integrate scientific data into real-life practice, adapting interpersonal style to situations and people. Participate in developing a customer‑centric tactical engagement plan to support Medical Affairs strategies. Maintain scientific and clinical knowledge through continuous learning and awareness of related scientific literature. Collaborate with field‑based medical colleagues, Commercial colleagues, and the broader organization to provide scientific expertise and share medical insights. Leverage knowledge of standards of care, company‑ and investigator‑sponsored clinical trials, and competitor landscape to facilitate external‑internal research communication. Respond to unsolicited scientific inquiries from HCPs/ investigators/ health‑care systems/ academic medical centers, integrating real‑world evidence into practice to meet customer needs. Qualifications Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD, NP, PA). 3+ years industry experience as a Medical Science Liaison. Oncology disease experience preferred; experience in Infectious Disease, Immunology, or Rare Disease preferred. Strong scientific and clinical acumen. Ability to quickly understand and translate complex scientific data and assess its impact on clinical practice and research needs. Ability to travel 60% of the time (including overnight travel) and possess a valid driver’s license. Self‑development drive, collaborative approach, and action‑oriented work ethic. Compensation & Benefits The annual base salary for this position ranges from $210,000 to $220,000. Compensation may include a company car or car allowance and eligibility to earn commissions/bonuses based on performance.
