An exciting opportunity is available for an Optometrist to join a dedicated team at a nonprofit, multi-specialty healthcare center in Ocala, FL. This role involves providing comprehensive optometric primary care services in a supportive environment. You will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality patient care while enjoying competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient optometric services, including preventive care, health maintenance, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions.
• Collaborate with a professional team to ensure exceptional patient care in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
• Participate in outreach and off-site health care programs within the community.
• Facilitate necessary referrals and represent the organization's values and mission.

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
• You will manage 24 patients a day (4 patients per hour) with support from two technicians and front desk staff.

Requirements:

• A valid state optometry license, or one currently being obtained, is required.
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing eye conditions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
