About the Position

Take on a high-impact locum tenens Trauma CRNA opportunity in Ocala, Florida . This overnight assignment is designed for experienced CRNAs who thrive in fast-paced emergency environments and are confident managing complex trauma cases.

Join a comprehensive stroke and Level I Trauma Center supporting critical surgical care across trauma, stroke, and emergency cases. This travel assignment offers experienced CRNAs the opportunity to expand their acute care expertise while providing essential anesthesia coverage in a dynamic hospital setting.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide overnight anesthesia coverage for trauma, stroke, and emergency cases.
• Manage complex surgical anesthesia needs in a Level I Trauma Center.
• Perform regional blocks, spinal anesthesia, central line, and arterial line placement.
• Support emergency surgical services in collaboration with residents, CRNAs, and anesthesia physicians.
• Provide coverage across primary facility and cross-credentialed locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
• Active Florida medical license required prior to submission.
• Trauma anesthesia experience required.
• Must be proficient in regional blocks, spinals, and central and arterial line placement.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• Full-time availability required.
• Must be willing to cross credential at additional facility location.

Working Hours

• Start Date: May 5, 2026
• Full-time overnight coverage.
• Shift Options:
  • 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekend availability required.
• No off-site call responsibilities.
• On-site rotation coverage only.
