About the Position

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 36-day locum tenens assignment in Florida starting Dec 1, 2025. The schedule features 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a). This role is ideal for board-certified or board-eligible professionals with emergency care proficiency and experience using Meditech EHR.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform all emergency care procedures, including central access, arterial line placement, lumbar puncture, intubation, pacing, and orthopedic stabilization
• Deliver comprehensive emergency medical care to diverse patient populations
• Manage acute medical and trauma cases in a high-acuity setting
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EHR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Additional Information

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Florida
• Required board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• EM Board Eligible after successful completion of accredited residency or FM/IM with 3 years of experience (for FSEDs)
