Production Planner

Logistics Production SpecialistWe are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Production Specialist to support production flow and logistics operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of materials and vehicles throughout the factory while supporting production schedules, issue resolution, and continuous process improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesContinuously monitor and optimize production and logistics flow throughout the factory.Manage vehicle blocking and release processes based on operational inputs and production requirements.Support failure analysis activities, identify root causes, and implement containment actions and corrective measures.Coordinate with production, logistics, and quality teams to minimize disruptions and maintain operational efficiency.Monitor production systems and schedules to ensure targets and deadlines are met.Support process improvement and project planning initiatives within the logistics and manufacturing environment.Maintain accurate operational data and reporting to support management decision-making.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Logistics, Engineering, or a related field required.Minimum of 2-4 years of professional experience in logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, or a related operational environment.Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.Experience in manufacturing operations with an emphasis on project management and process planning preferred.Technical SkillsWorking knowledge of production and logistics systems, including: iPortal (shift scheduling and target tracking), Gepard, VANIS, similar production planning and logistics management systems.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word.Preferred CompetenciesStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all organizational levels, including senior leadership and executive management.Exceptional organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives to completion.Strong team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while managing multiple priorities.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Ladson, SC.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
