Production SupervisorThe Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure efficient, safe, and quality production. They coordinate and supervise the activities of production staff, monitor production processes, enforce safety standards, and ensure products meet quality specifications. The role involves planning production schedules, managing resources, and collaborating with other departments to meet production targets and optimize workflow.Shift Schedule: 2nd Shift (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm)QualificationsHigh School graduate or GED; and/or minimum three years' experience in assembly and manufacturing operations Must have demonstrated leadership skills through experienceSkilled in training team members and fostering collaborative working relationshipsExceptional communication abilitiesProficient in conveying information clearly across all organizational levels and working effectively with diverse teamsAbility to adapt to everchanging business needs.Primary Job ResponsibilitiesOversees and supports the team lead by delegating tasks, monitoring the performance of production team members.Oversee various assembly operations to assemble sub-assemblies and finished productsPlan and oversee production schedules to meet deadlinesIdentify and resolve production issues efficiently and effectivelyDrive continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency and product qualityEnsure that products meet established quality standardsEnforce safety protocols and promote a safe working environment by ensuring the proper use of safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, and prohibiting the use of earbuds and personal cell phones on the production floor.Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and logistics teams to optimize operationsTrain new employees and cross-train team members to improve operational flexibilityVerify that documentation such as production drawings, BOMs, and work order travelers are complete and understoodConduct interviews for new hires to evaluate their qualifications, skills, and fit for the team.Address all employee issues promptly and effectively, providing coaching and support to improve performance and resolve concerns.Maintain accurate timesheets and attendance records.Verify that employee's clock in and out correctly and properly manage break periods.Partner with Human Resources on employee relations issues and disciplinary actions to ensure consistent, fair, and compliant resolutions per company guidelines.Responding promptly and appropriately to work injuries by reporting work-related injuries and incidents to the appropriate authorities and safety.Serve as a professional ambassador for the company and act as the primary liaison for employeesCommunicate company goals and policies clearly to ensure team alignmentOther duties as assigned.Physical DemandsAbility to stand, walk, and move around the production floor for extended periodsCapability to lift and carry materials, tools, or equipment weighing up to 50 poundsFrequent bending, stooping, and reaching to inspect equipment and productsRepetitive motions such as lifting, gripping, or assembling partsGood vision and hearing to monitor operations and identify issuesAbility to work in environments with exposure to loud noises, vibration, or temperature fluctuationsUse of safety gear such as gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection as requiredFlexibility to work different shifts or overtime to meet production deadlinesWe OfferA competitive benefit packageGrowth and advancement opportunitiesPaid Time Off from day One10 company-paid holidaysTuition ReimbursementA generous 401(k) contributionRaycap is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
