Industrial Controls Technician

Seeking a skilled Industrial Controls Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and program automated equipment, PLC's, and other industrial applications. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Compensation: $35-$40+/hour, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize PLC, HMI, SCADA, and automated control systems. Program, modify, and support PLC logic and HMI interfaces. Diagnose electrical, instrumentation, and controls-related equipment issues. Support industrial networks, communication protocols, and system integration projects. Perform startup, commissioning, and validation of automation equipment. Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations to improve equipment reliability and performance. Develop and maintain control system documentation, backups, and technical standards. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, quality, and safety. Qualifications Associate's degree or technical diploma in Automation, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, or related field preferred. Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms). Working knowledge of HMI, SCADA, VFDs, industrial sensors, and control devices. Understanding of industrial networking and communication protocols such Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, and P&IDs. Strong troubleshooting skills in manufacturing and automated production environments. Experience with robotics, motion control, vision systems, or MES integration is a plus.
