As the plant moves into full stride on second shift, you’re the expert who keeps equipment safe, stable, and ready for anything. From diagnosing electrical issues to tuning chillers and fabricating guards, you’ll combine hands-on skill with system thinking to minimize downtime and elevate reliability.

A Day in the Life

• Begin with safety and line walkdowns, coordinating with production to prioritize work that reduces bottlenecks and unplanned stops.
• Zero in on troubleshooting and repairs for manufacturing equipment, forklifts, and pallet trucks—restoring function quickly and correctly.
• Run preventive maintenance routes and condition checks across facility systems: water tanks, chillers, compressors, oil temperature controllers, filters, and electrical distribution—always to national code requirements.
• Interpret mechanical and electrical schematics/blueprints to trace faults, confirm wiring, and validate proper operation.
• Fabricate, modify, and weld components (machine parts, gates, guards) that improve safety and uptime.
• Operate shop equipment, hand tools, and power tools confidently and safely; apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) every time.
• Pitch in on facility care—swap bulbs and ballasts, move furniture, clean equipment, and keep exterior areas tidy.
• Document work orders, parts consumption, and maintenance history in the ERP/CMMS to drive data-led decisions.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement and adhere to our Quality Management System (QMS) standards.

What You Bring

• 1–2 year technical degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, Machine Shop, Hydraulics, Water Treatment Systems, or Power Transmission; or 5+ years of equivalent maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Solid mechanical and plumbing know-how.
• Ability to read and work from electrical and mechanical blueprints/schematics.
• Strong organization and basic math skills; comfortable with computers and maintenance tracking systems.
• Proficient and safe with a wide range of hand and power tools; consistent, reliable attendance and a safety-first mindset.

• HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Pneumatics troubleshooting and service.

• Strict application of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
