Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic – South St Paul location. Starting pay: $83,325. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical functions, drive units, plumbing, AC/DC circuits, sensors, switches, motor controls, and VFD safety circuits on Dupps, Haarslev and Alfa Laval equipment. Repair pneumatic devices and hydraulic systems on the same equipment. Program, upgrade and troubleshoot equipment through their specific operation software. Assess equipment for repairs, enhancements or upgrades and complete work as needed. Perform preventive maintenance tasks (weekly, monthly, yearly) and document work per company procedures. Prepare equipment for production by rigging, leveling, testing and modifying as required. Disassemble, repair, rebuild, assemble and install components; work autonomously according to instructions. Coordinate multiple maintenance projects, prioritizing as necessary. Follow lockout/tag‑out procedures to meet health and safety requirements. Participate in daily maintenance department meetings. Qualifications Minimum 3 years experience as a maintenance mechanic on rendering, processing, or heat transfer equipment from Dupps, Haarslev and Alfa Laval. Proficient in evaluating, troubleshooting, repairing and performing preventive maintenance on these machines. Ability to work extended periods in challenging environments (high heat, cold, strong odors, dust). Technical or professional education, certification or license in machinery mechanic, industrial mechanic, electromechanic or similar.
