Senior Director Clinical Operations

The client is seeking a Senior Director of Clinical Operations to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of global clinical programs across Phase I-III. This position is responsible for ensuring all aspects of clinical trial operations meet timelines, budgets, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. The candidate will lead a high-performing Clinical Operations team and collaborate closely with various departments to ensure readiness and successful execution of trials across multiple regions. The key responsibilities of this role include providing strategic leadership for U.S. Clinical Operations and guiding the execution of global clinical studies. The Senior Director will be responsible for building, mentoring, and managing the clinical operations team, leading trial oversight, and overseeing CROs and vendors. Additional duties include developing operational plans, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards. The candidate will also be expected to partner cross-functionally to assist in protocol development and coordinate multinational study execution. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, with 12+ years of clinical operations experience and 7+ years in leading global Phase I-III trials on the sponsor side. Experience with CRO oversight, multi-regional studies, and a deep understanding of GCP and clinical development processes are necessary. Preferred qualifications include experience in neuroscience, neuroinflammation, or rare disease, along with strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
