Looking for a stress-free, part-time job with great daytime hours and no weekends?

The Learning Experience is looking for a dependable, positive, and organized Preschool Cook/Kitchen Assistant to join our team!

This is not a traditional high-pressure cooking position. Our meals are pre-planned and food is primarily pre-cooked, so there is no cooking from scratch and no complicated meal preparation. Your main responsibility is to prepare/heat the food as needed, portion meals, and organize them for delivery to each classroom.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday
• Approximately 9:00 AM–1:00/1:30 PM
• About 4 hours per day
• No evenings
• No weekends

What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and heat our pre-planned meals as needed
• Portion and organize food for each classroom
• Distribute meals and snacks according to classroom counts
• Maintain and carefully follow all child food allergy and dietary information
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitary
• Follow proper food safety, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Keep basic food and supply inventory
• Work with our Center Leadership team to make sure the kitchen is stocked and running smoothly
• Bring a positive attitude and enjoy being part of a fun childcare environment
