Payment Posting Coordinator

The Payment Poster performs multiple responsibilities related to payment and adjustment for DME and Health Home payers. This position promotes revenue integrity by ensuring timely and accurate posting of accounts and maintains posting per company guidelines.

What will you need to succeed:

• Minimum of one-year experience in medical billing service
• Ability to interpret billing procedures and changes and assimilate information to computer.
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
• Extensive knowledge of CPT and ICD9 codes.
• Experience in Medicare and Managed Care, Third Party payers, PIP, filing claims by electronic method, etc. Knowledge of governmental legal and regulatory provisions related to collection activities. (Preferred)
