About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine the physical therapy needs of pediatric patients.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques and modalities to enhance motor skills and mobility.
• Collaborate with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and activities to promote recovery.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming therapy environment for children and their families.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state license to practice physical therapy in South Carolina.
• Experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Passion for helping children achieve their physical therapy goals.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
