The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the pre-operative assessment of patients, ensuring a smooth and seamless experience from admission to surgery.Responsibilities:Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments of patientsCollaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plansProvide education to patients and their families regarding pre-operative instructions and post-operative careEnsure compliance with all relevant medical and legal standardsMaintain accurate and up-to-date patient record.Qualifications:Active RN license in VA.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a surgical or perioperative settingStrong assessment and critical thinking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a teamCurrent BLS certificationBenefits:Competitive salaryProfessional development opportunitiesNo holidays, weekends, or on-call responsibilitiesPay Range: $48/hour - $52/hour (Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.)
