It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers.**Job Description**Job Summary\*\* Responsible for leading and managing a key functional area within United Overseas Bank Ltd, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the achievement of business objectives. Job Responsibilities\*\* \* Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives in alignment with the bank's overall goals. \* Oversee and manage daily operations within the assigned department or business unit, ensuring efficiency and compliance. \* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, fostering a high-performance culture. \* Manage financial budgets, resources, and performance metrics to achieve optimal results. \* Identify and mitigate risks associated with business operations and regulatory requirements. \* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulators. \* Drive innovation and process improvements to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction. \* Represent the bank in internal and external forums as required. \* Prepare and present reports to senior management on performance, progress, and strategic recommendations. Job Qualifications\*\* \* Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in the banking or financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. \* Proven track record of success in managing complex projects, teams, and achieving business targets. \* Strong understanding of financial products, markets, and regulatory environments. \* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. \* Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. \* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. \* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or relevant Master's degree is highly preferred. \* Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
