Senior Functional Consultant - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Your application will be read by an actual person who’s excited to discover the real you.GraVoc, a New Charter company, is seeking a Senior Functional Consultant – Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (in other companies this person could hold the title of Senior D365 Business Central Consultant, ERP Functional Consultant — Dynamics 365 BC, Microsoft Dynamics BC Implementation Lead), to join our Software Solutions team and lead ERP implementations for growing organizations.In this role, you will lead full-cycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementations, guiding clients through discovery, solution design, configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live. You will collaborate with executive stakeholders, finance teams, operations leaders, and technical developers to architect scalable ERP solutions that align with business objectives while leveraging Business Central, Power BI, and third-party integrations.To be successful in this role, you will bring deep expertise across finance, procurement, quote-to-cash, inventory management, and system integrations within D365 Business Central. You will confidently lead discovery workshops, conduct fit-gap analysis, produce functional design documentation, and ensure seamless data migration and user adoption through structured testing and training programs.Work Authorization Requirement:This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be physically located and authorized to work in the United States.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the future.Applicants must be able to work for any U.S. employer without current or future sponsorship requirements.General job duties include:Lead client discovery and solution design workshopsConfigure Dynamics 365 Business Central modules including Finance, Procurement & Sourcing, Planning, and Inventory ManagementDevelop and maintain Solution Design Documents (SDDs) and Functional Design Documents (FDDs)Create Functional Specifications for customizations and integrationsOversee system setup, initialization, and configurationLead data extraction, transformation, validation, and migration of master and transactional dataDesign and execute test scripts, Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessionsDevelop user guides and deliver end-user trainingValidate deployments and confirm solution alignment with project objectivesProvide ongoing customer support and optimization recommendationsRequired Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or related field5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) ERP implementation experienceProven experience leading full lifecycle ERP implementations including configuration and data migrationStrong expertise in Finance, Procurement, Integrations, Planning & Forecasting, and Inventory ManagementExperience facilitating executive-level workshops and cross-functional stakeholder meetingsPreferred Experience:Familiarity with Order Management and Pricing modulesExperience with Power BI reporting and analyticsMicrosoft Dynamics certifications (MB-800 or related)Experience working with both technical developers and non-technical business stakeholdersDemonstrated success delivering complex ERP transformation projectsCommitment to ongoing professional development and certificationBenefits:Competitive compensation starting at $135,000Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchProfessional development and certification supportCollaborative, growth-focused cultureFlexible work arrangementsWho We are:At New Charter, we’re building a caliber of business the IT industry hasn’t yet seen.
