As a Security Officer Medical Facility Hazard Detection in Philadelphia, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a prestigious university location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by following security-related procedures, campus policies, and emergency response protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, requesting additional assistance when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, walkways, parking facilities, and campus perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, identify unusual activity, and report security-related concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear incident reports and communicate relevant information to campus personnel, Allied Universal management, and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Hospital-required vaccines are required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• At least two years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
