Farm Operations ManagerThe Lennard Ag Company ("Lennard Ag"), an industrial, family-owned farm and full-service potato grower and distributor in the Midwest, requires a Farm Operations Manager at its primary farm operation located in Howe, Indiana. Job Duties: Direct operational duties on the company farm, direct employees, manage financials, process evaluation and improvement, ensure safe work environment. Participate in selection, onboarding and development of seasonal employees. Maintain chip quality per customer requirements. Coordinate plant health and season planning activities with Agronomy Team. Maintain irrigation and ensure appropriate water and fertigation levels. Coordinate Spray Program with the local ag retail locations. Oversee double crop/fall tillage/cover crops Prepare weekly meeting agenda, track completed and open items to ensure open items are being addressed by designated team members and by specified deadlines. Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. 24 months' experience in Farm and equipment management. Occasional (no more than monthly) travel to the company's various farms, all of which are located in the mid-west section of the United States (i.e. Michigan, Indiana and Ohio).
