CNC Machine Operator

CNC Machinist

The primary responsibilities of this position would be set-up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery.

Job duties include:

• Machine parts to process
• Must be capable of using and operating CNC machining centers
• Must be capable of doing setups on machining centers
• Must be capable of determining when tools/wheels need to be changed and install new tools/wheels
• Must be capable of reading blueprints
• Must be capable of using inspection equipment such as surface plate, height gages, indicators, micrometers, calipers, plug gauges, and CMM.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery
• Aide in troubleshooting and repairing machinery
• Aide in writing standard operating procedures

Skills and qualifications:

• CNC machine operation experience required
• Set up preferred but not required
• The ability to stand for 8+ hours a day
