Saw Operator - Manual Machinist

Advanced Blending Solutions LLC of Wallace, MI is hiring a full‑time Saw Operator – Manual Machinist to join our production team. Pay is dependent on relevant experience. Position Overview As a Saw Operator – Manual Machinist you work in a clean, comfortable environment. Your responsibilities include setting up, adjusting, and operating machine tools such as lathes and milling machines to manufacture parts to specifications. You will load vices with raw materials, interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances, conduct first article and in‑process inspections, and monitor for malfunctions. Maintenance tasks include routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs. Safety is a priority; you will monitor equipment and materials to ensure safe operation. Qualifications Read and interpret blueprints Knowledge of measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, tape measures) Organized, accurate, and detail oriented Efficient time management Effective verbal communication Complete forklift training within 30 days (certification required) Lift up to 50 pounds frequently Experience using saws and other manual machines preferred High school diploma or equivalent Work Schedule The schedule is a full‑time 1st shift: Monday – Thursday 5 am to 2:30 pm, Friday 5 am to 9 am.
