This setting offers an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious trusts and estates attorney seeking growth and immediate client contact.§ Responsibilities:The incoming Trusts & Estates Associate will be responsible for advising private clients, family leaders, and institutional fiduciaries on wealth planning and estate administration.Key duties include: Designing and implementing comprehensive estate plans, asset protection strategies, and wealth transfer mechanisms for high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and business proprietors. Creating intricate estate planning documents, such as revocable and irrevocable trusts, dynasty trusts, generation-skipping transfer tax structures, and charitable organizations. Overseeing complex estate and trust administration procedures, such as probate proceedings, fiduciary accounting, asset valuations, and federal estate and gift tax filings. Acting as the primary legal advisor to private clients, family office principals, closely held business leaders, and philanthropic foundation representatives. Advising business owners on corporate succession planning, governance issues, and tax-efficient ownership transfer strategies.§ Requirements:Candidates should possess exceptional academic qualifications and substantial experience in wealth planning and estate administration within a reputable law firm. Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school with a stellar academic history. Active Bar Membership in good standing with the State Bar of Florida. Three (3) to Five (5) years of relevant experience in estate planning, trust drafting, and estate administration. Proficiency in estate and gift tax analysis, contract drafting, and client communication. Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, detail-oriented, and self-driven approach.§ Qualifications:The following qualifications and specialized experience will enhance a candidate's application: Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation or Estate Planning from an accredited law school. Experience advising family offices, private foundations, and national charities on tax-exempt governance and charitable giving strategies. Advanced knowledge of federal estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax compliance.
