Safety Coordinator

The Site EHS Coordinator will partner with operations leadership and employees to maintain a safe and compliant work environment. This individual will coordinate safety initiatives, conduct inspections, facilitate training, investigate incidents, and ensure adherence to OSHA and environmental regulations.

Schedule: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri Pay: $26/hour Location: Lacaster, TX

Administrative & Compliance Duties Maintain all EHS records, files, and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Track and manage employee safety training records, certifications, and recertification requirements. Schedule and coordinate safety meetings, training sessions, audits, and inspections. Maintain OSHA 300 logs, workers' compensation records, and incident tracking databases. Monitor and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure accessibility throughout the facility. Assist with submitting regulatory reports and maintaining compliance documentation for OSHA, EPA, and other applicable agencies. Coordinate safety supply inventory, including PPE, first aid supplies, eyewash stations, and emergency response equipment. Create, update, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety policies, and work instructions. Maintain electronic and paper filing systems for audits, inspections, corrective actions, and employee training records. Track open corrective actions and follow up with department managers to ensure timely completion. Support internal and external EHS audits by gathering documentation and preparing reports. Assist with onboarding activities by ensuring new hires complete required safety training and documentation. Compile and analyze EHS metrics, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for leadership review. Prepare presentations, spreadsheets, and reports related to safety performance and compliance initiatives. Maintain confidentiality of employee medical information, incident reports, and workers' compensation documentation. Serve as the primary administrative point of contact for EHS-related questions, documentation requests, and compliance inquiries.
