divh2Safety Manager/h2pJob Category: Safety Requisition Number: SAFET004646/ppPosted: May 15, 2026/ppFull-Time On-site Lancaster, TX 75146, USA/ph3Description/h3pstrongESSENTIAL DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES/strong/pulliEstablishes and promotes a healthy and safe work environment./liliOversees the implementation and maintenance of environmental health and safety management systems./liliEmphasizes accountability around safety policies and decisions./liliAids in the development and implementation of divisional and corporate safety strategy across multiple locations./liliEnsures accurate and timely record keeping and document management./liliLeads the development, review and implementation of site emergency programs./liliInterfaces with regulatory and public sector agencies as appropriate./liliLeads, supports and guides facility safety committees./liliConducts regular reviews with site leadership and prioritizes issues./liliParticipates in industry and professional interest groups to stay current on best practices./liliEnsure all personnel are properly trained in both OSHA and Company required safety programs/liliAssists line and staff management to understand OSHA regulations and standards, including guidance on handling OSHA compliance, inspections, and citation follow-up./liliConduct regular plant safety audits, document all deviations and follow-up to ensure all required corrective actions are completed in a timely manner/liliAssist line management by spending appropriate time on production floor to observe workforce for safe behaviors and immediately correct any deficiencies/liliInvestigate all injuries in conjunction with line and staff personnel, identify root cause(s) to prevent recurrence, and notify plant management and corporate safety team of pertinent details/liliReview plant accident statistics and make recommendations for performance improvement/liliEstablishes target areas and long-range accident prevention and cost-control objectives/liliKeeps apprised of developments in federal and state safety laws and regulations likely to affect the plant/liliActs as plant liaison in dealing with government agencies on safety and health matters affecting the plant/liliMay be assigned other duties as required./liliMust be bilingual in Spanish./li/ulpstrongMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/strong/pulliBachelors degree in safety engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field required./lili6 - 8 years professional safety experience in manufacturing industry or construction required./liliCertified Safety Professional (CSP) status preferred./liliThis can be a physically demanding job that can require the ability to lift 40+ pounds, to grip, work over head, pull at chest height, bend, stand, walk, kneel, crawl, push, pull, reach, climb and carry various materials and equipment./liliDemonstrated ability to work with external regulators and support multiple teams in order to consistently meet safety and production goals is required./liliKnowledge and experience with OSHA regulations and safety protocols required./liliDemonstrated ability to support and encourage staff, demonstrate empathy for others, to be trained, and take direction is required./liliExperienced with Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required./liliStrong verbal, written, analytical, and persuasive skills./liliAbility to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management./liliMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen./liliFlexible to work in a fast paced, changing environment./liliNot afraid to get dirty and handle tools/equipment daily./liliBilingual in Spanish is required for this position/li/ulpEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
