Field Service Engineer

Job Overview Field Service Technical Engineer supporting HP’s Pagewide business in the United States, focused on delivering digital transformation solutions in the industrial print industry. The role improves customer experience through installation, maintenance, and software services across pre‑sales, post‑sales, and service delivery. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive installation support and site‑specific information to enhance customer experience. Address customer‑relationship challenges promptly, escalating issues per established protocols. Deliver software services covering pre‑sales, post‑sales, and service delivery for diverse customer needs. Support large enterprise, complex, or corporate accounts with tailored solutions. Utilize proactive monitoring techniques to prevent problems and enhance customer experience. Offer site support for break‑fix activities and provide technical assistance to third‑party and authorized service providers. Lead onsite escalation support when required, applying extensive knowledge to resolve complex issues. Coordinate departmental work, mentor the team, and serve as an escalation point for related issues. Identify opportunities for improvement, make recommendations, and ensure effective business controls through review, analysis, and verification. Maintain positive working relationships with associates and management while monitoring process execution. Travel 25% of the time, which may include out‑of‑state travel. Education & Experience Recommended: High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. Typically 6‑8 years of related work experience, preferably in HP products, customer base, account management, computer customer support, on‑site customer support, mission critical, systems experience, or a related field.
