Senior Deployment EngineerLocation: Indianapolis, Indiana (Remote)Our client is seeking multiple experienced security engineering professionals for the Cyber Defense Engineering team. This team is responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining the core tools and technologies that enable enterprise cyber defense operations. The environment is execution-driven, requiring individuals who can take ownership of deployments and drive initiatives forward with minimal ramp-up time, with a focus on SaaS-based security solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the deployment, configuration, and onboarding of SaaS-based security platforms.Implement and maintain security tooling integrations across enterprise environments.Configure and manage access controls (RBAC) and identity integrations.Support and coordinate SSO integrations and authentication workflows, including basic Okta configuration.Execute firewall rule changes and network connectivity coordination in partnership with infrastructure teams.Administer and support tools used by security operations and analyst teams.Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with security use cases and analyst workflows.Participate in proof-of-concept and pilot deployments when evaluating new technologies.Required QualificationsCandidates should have a background in security engineering, security platform engineering, or cloud/security infrastructure engineering, with a traditional infrastructure and security engineering mindset.ExperienceAdvisor Level: Typically 5+ years of relevant experience, with the ability to independently lead projects.Senior Analyst: Typically 3–5 years of experience in an execution-focused role.Technical SkillsSaaS application deployment, administration, and configuration.Understanding of cloud-hosted environments.Experience with RBAC, access management concepts, SSO integrations, and identity providers.Hands-on experience with security tooling deployment and network/security coordination.Ability to independently manage project tasks and deliver outcomes with minimal oversight.Preferred QualificationsExperience with SIEM, logging, or data platforms such as Splunk, Elastic, or Sumo Logic.Exposure to security operations environments and analyst workflows.Familiarity with identity platforms such as Okta.Experience working in cloud infrastructure or security engineering roles.Exposure to AI-enabled or agentic security tools is considered a bonus.
