THE ROLE

Our Front of House team members create exceptional guest experiences through genuine hospitality. Baristas handcraft beautiful espresso beverages while delivering warm, knowledgeable service and maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and cleanliness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome guests with warm, genuine hospitality and provide exceptional customer service
• Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of Tatte's coffee, bakery, and savory offerings
• Prepare and serve handcrafted espresso beverages according to Tatte recipes and standards
• Answer guests' questions and make thoughtful menu recommendations
• Follow all beverage recipes and presentation standards
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other bar equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar station
• Deliver consistently beautiful, high-quality espresso beverages
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Warm, engaging, and welcoming communication skills
• Passion for coffee, hospitality, and creating exceptional guest experiences
• Desire to help where needed and work as part of a team
• Commitment to living Tatte's core values and delivering on our mission
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Previous barista experience using manual espresso equipment is preferred but not required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / WORKING CONDITIONS

• Strong communication skills to warmly engage with guests and team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to grasp and reach overhead
• Ability to lift, move, and carry 50 pounds or more
• Ability to stand and work on your feet for 8 or more hours per shift
