Production Finance Manager

We are seeking a qualified Production Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations for an expanding manufacturing company in Fort Wayne. This role is perfect for a proactive financial leader with expertise in manufacturing, financial analysis, and cost control, who thrives on collaborating with management to optimize financial results.

Duties:

Manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing procedures
Create financial statements, executive summaries, and operational analysis
Supervise general ledger, cost accounting, inventory management, cash flow, and financial reporting
Supervise accounting for multiple entities, ensuring precision and adherence to regulations
Analyze manufacturing expenditures, efficiency, procurement, and operational effectiveness to pinpoint cost reductions and process enhancements
Coordinate annual audits and uphold relationships with financial institutions
Manage commercial insurance and employee benefits coordination
Lead, guide, and cultivate teams in accounting and procurement
Assist in enhancing ERP systems and financial processes

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
Prior experience as a Controller or senior financial leader in a manufacturing setting
Proven expertise in cost accounting, inventory management, and corporate finance
Experience in overseeing month-end closures, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash management
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP software
Familiarity with payroll and fixed asset systems
CPA, CMA, advanced degree, or experience with ERP implementation is advantageous
Must reside within a reasonable distance of Fort Wayne, IN. No relocation assistance provided.
