Utility Staffing Group is currently Heavy Equipment Operator positions in Knoxville, TN .
Details fo r Heavy Equipment Operator :

$31 / Hour and Up BOE
Must be willing to travel
Occasional Overtime & Weekends
Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

Job duties for Heavy Equipment Operator :

Responsible for inspecting trucks before and after you use them, load and unload cargo
Follow company and governmental safety guidelines
Completes any other related tasks as needed
Inspect large equipment before and after use to ensure they are working properly
Load and unload cargo and move them to the appropriate area
Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment
Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs when necessary
Report needs for larger repairs to the appropriate parties

Qualifications and Desired Skills for Heavy Equipment Operator :

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year of experience operating a variety of heavy equipment (including front loaders, mini excavators, and cranes).
Possession of a commercial driver's license (CDL) or a willingness to obtain the license
Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards
Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 50+ pounds
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and operate heavy machinery
Ability to stand for duration of shift
Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs
Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
