About the Position:

Truck Driver –

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver . All routes are within 100 miles of our headquarters.  Driver must have a clean driving record and a valid Class A CDL License. This position reports to the Logistics Manager. 

Primary Responsibilities:

·         Perform rail container pick-ups and deliveries safely and on time

·         Perform local deliveries and transfers between our local warehouses

·         Secure containers and ensure compliance with DOT regulations

·         Complete required paperwork and electronic logs accurately

·         Communicate effectively with dispatch and personnel

·         Review daily route schedule with management

·         Deliver raw chemicals to local cities including the City of Chicago

Requirements:

·         Valid Class A CDL

·         Clean driving record

·         Knowledge of DOT and safety regulations

·         Ability to work independently and meet delivery schedules

·         Strong knowledge of local roads and routes

·         Must be able to pass monthly drug screenings

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Rail/Intermodal experience required (including chassis)

·         Familiarity with rail terminals and gate systems

·         Experience operating a forklift

·         Must be able to lift 60 pounds

·         Tanker Certificate preferred

·         Hazmat Certificate required

Education/Experience:

•         5-year minimum truck driving experience
