Reporting Structure

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk reports directly to the Materials Manager.

Key Performance Indicators / Duties and Responsibilities:

• Keeps records on incoming shipments.
• Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
• Route items to departments.
• Examine incoming shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
• Ensure compliance with the Avmax Montana RSQCM.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
• General upkeep of the receiving area.

Qualifications Required:

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Genial, friendly manner.
• HS Diploma.

Experience :

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Aviation experience is preferred.

NOTE: Most training modules will be assigned as part of the onboarding program and must be completed within the first 3 months of employment. Please refer to your onboarding schedule for further details.

Safety Training for Safety Committee Members - (Only Applicable to employees who will be part of the Safety Committee)

Elective Programs / Courses

Elective programs and/or courses should meet at least one of the following criteria:
