Marketing & Communications Lead #22613 Job Summary The Marketing & Communications Lead oversees the organization’s marketing, communications, and branding efforts. This position develops and coordinates marketing campaigns, creates content, manages vendor relationships, monitors digital and social media channels, and ensures consistent brand messaging across all platforms. The role works closely with internal departments, leadership, and external vendors and represents the organization at community events, trade shows, conferences, and sponsorship activities throughout Oahu and the neighbor islands. Key Responsibilities Lead marketing, communications, and branding initiatives across digital, social media, print, TV, website, and events. Develop marketing content, including advertisements, press releases, email campaigns, flyers, mailers, presentations, and social media posts. Manage and maintain website and social media content and monitor online reviews and engagement. Coordinate marketing vendors, projects, timelines, and deliverables. Develop and maintain brand materials and ensure consistency across communications. Establish and monitor marketing KPIs and analyze campaign, website, and digital performance. Conduct market research and use industry and competitive trends to support marketing strategies. Assist with marketing budgets, purchasing, promotional materials, and inventory. Coordinate and attend community events, trade shows, conferences, and sponsorship activities. Serve as a marketing liaison between the Communications team, departments, leadership, and vendors. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: High school diploma or GED. Strong knowledge of marketing, communications, branding, and marketing channels. Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and project-management skills. Creative, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external partners. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field. Three years of marketing or communications experience, preferably in the insurance industry. Experience with Canva, WordPress, Photoshop, digital marketing, and social media strategy. Additional Requirements Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and applicable auto insurance. Ability to travel throughout Oahu and by air to neighbor islands. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and work at a computer for extended periods. Primarily an in-office position; limited remote work may be available with management approval. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required for events and business needs. Status: Full-Time, Exempt Location: Downtown Honolulu, Hawaii Salary: $50,000–$65,000 starting range; full salary range may vary based on experience and qualifications.
