About the Role:

Mathnasium of Tustin is looking for a passionate and energetic Math Instructor to help students build confidence and master math skills in a fun, supportive environment. If you love math and enjoy working with kids, this is the perfect opportunity to make a real difference in your community!

Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized, one-on-one and small group math instruction to students of varying ages and skill levels
• Assess student understanding and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs
• Guide students through Mathnasium's proprietary curriculum and instructional materials
• Track and record student progress, providing feedback to center directors
• Foster a positive, encouraging learning environment that builds student confidence
• Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding academic progress
• Maintain a organized and welcoming classroom atmosphere

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in math through at least Algebra II, Geometry, or higher
• Previous tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience preferred
• Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and patiently to students K–12
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and student-focused demeanor
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to a consistent part-time schedule
• Must be 18 years or older; college students and graduates encouraged to apply
• Located in or near Tustin, CA 
• Center Hours: Monday - Tuesday 3-7pm Wednesday 2-7pm Thursday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-1pm (up to 5 days are available)
