Position Summary

GT Independence is seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing Finance team. This role plays a critical part in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, management reporting, and strategic decision support across a complex, multi-state healthcare organization.

The Senior Financial Analyst will partner closely with Finance, Operations, and executive leadership to provide actionable insights, improve financial visibility, and support informed business decisions. Depending on experience and organizational needs, the position may focus on Operating Finance and Gross Profit Analysis or Corporate FP&A and Treasury .

What You'll Do

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
\n
• Build and maintain driver-based financial models that support revenue, expenses, headcount, margins, and operational planning.
\n
• Analyze actual financial results against budget and forecast, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
\n
• Prepare scenario modeling, sensitivity analyses, and forecast updates for leadership review.
\n
• Partner with business leaders to gather, validate, and evaluate financial assumptions.
\n
• Maintain model controls, reconciliations, and financial documentation.
\n

Reporting & Business Partnership

\n
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages and KPI dashboards.
\n
• Develop meaningful variance analysis and financial commentary.
\n
• Participate in budget-to-actual reviews with operational and departmental leaders.
\n
• Translate complex financial information into clear business insights for non-financial stakeholders.
\n
• Support executive reporting, leadership presentations, and Board-level financial materials.
\n

Operating Finance & Profitability Analysis

\n
• Analyze participant activity, revenue, service costs, gross profit, and margin performance.
\n
• Support forecasting of participant volumes, reimbursement rates, labor costs, and operational drivers.
\n
• Assist with pricing analyses, contract renewals, implementations, and profitability evaluations.
\n
• Partner with Operations and Business Development teams to identify financial opportunities and risks.
\n

Corporate FP&A & Treasury

\n
• Support forecasting and reporting of SG&A expenses, headcount, compensation, and benefits.
\n
• Assist with enterprise consolidations and three-statement financial forecasting.
\n
• Support cash management activities, liquidity reporting, and 13-week cash flow forecasting.
\n
• Prepare cash forecast-to-actual analysis and working capital reporting.
\n
• Assist with treasury operations, lender reporting, and banking administration.
\n

Process Improvement & Analytics

\n
• Automate recurring analyses and improve reporting efficiency.
\n
• Develop standardized planning templates and reporting processes.
\n
• Support enhancements to ERP, reporting, planning, and business intelligence systems.
\n
• Improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and financial controls.
\n
• Leverage approved technology and AI tools to drive efficiency while maintaining sound financial judgment.
\n

Qualifications

Required

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
\n
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, public accounting, transaction advisory, investment banking, or related analytical finance roles.
\n
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting.
\n
• Strong financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
\n
• Solid understanding of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
\n
• Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to both financial and non-financial audiences.
\n
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
\n

Preferred

\n
• CPA designation or progress toward certification.
\n
• Experience in healthcare services, Medicaid, FMS, or other regulated industries.
\n
• Experience supporting multi-state or multi-entity organizations.
\n
• Background in operating finance, profitability analysis, treasury, cash forecasting, or lender reporting.
\n
• Experience with planning and ERP systems such as Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, NetSuite, Oracle, Power BI, or similar platforms.
\n
• Experience with reporting automation, process improvement, and data governance initiatives.
\n
