Job Description
The 1st Shift Forklift Operator at our scrap yard plays a critical role in efficiently moving, stacking, and organizing scrap materials using forklifts. This position requires a focus on safety and accuracy to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to transport materials around the scrap yard
- Load and unload scrap materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain clear organization of materials to optimize yard space
- Follow all safety protocols and operational guidelines
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklift equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in forklift operation
