Job Description

The 1st Shift Forklift Operator at our scrap yard plays a critical role in efficiently moving, stacking, and organizing scrap materials using forklifts. This position requires a focus on safety and accuracy to ensure smooth operations throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts to transport materials around the scrap yard
Load and unload scrap materials safely and efficiently
Maintain clear organization of materials to optimize yard space
Follow all safety protocols and operational guidelines
Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklift equipment

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of experience in forklift operation
