Urology Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant Requirements

• Appropriate advanced practice or physician assistant certification
• Current BLS certification
• Board certification or applicable board eligibility in the relevant provider discipline
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered care

Urology Provider Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient urology clinic coverage Tuesday through Friday
• Conduct comprehensive histories, physical examinations, and urologic evaluations
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans within the provider’s scope of practice
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic studies and laboratory testing
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and follow-up care
• Document patient encounters accurately and coordinate care with physicians and the broader clinical team
