Location: Winona, MN
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
Pay: $16.50/hour
Duration: Temporary (4-6 Weeks)

Position Overview


We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support a temporary personnel file digitization project. This role involves organizing, scanning, and electronically filing employee records while maintaining strict confidentiality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize personnel files for scanning.
• Scan, verify, and electronically file documents.
• Ensure records are complete, accurate, and properly indexed.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Identify and report missing or duplicate documents.
• Assist with file organization, archiving, and other administrative duties.
• Perform quality checks to ensure records meet established standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous office, administrative, or records management experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage repetitive tasks efficiently.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move file boxes up to 25 pounds.
