You work from blueprints on a daily basis, perform both MIG and TIG welding depending on project requirements, and complete your own quality inspections to ensure safe, accurate, and reliable results. Responsibilities Refurbish used paper mill machine parts by repairing, welding, and reassembling components to meet operational standards. Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings on a daily basis to determine weld locations, dimensions, and specifications. Perform MIG, TIG, and flux core welding on stainless steel and carbon steel, adapting techniques based on project needs. Inspect completed welds and assemblies, performing your own quality checks to verify structural integrity and adherence to specifications. Use measuring tools such as tape measures and protractors to confirm dimensions and tolerances during fabrication and assembly. Adjust welding parameters and techniques to accommodate different materials, thicknesses, and positions while maintaining high-quality welds. Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety procedures and using required personal protective equipment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to plan work, prioritize tasks, and ensure projects are completed on schedule. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lebanon, OH.
