Job Summary:
The Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nursing role is located in Carthage, Tennessee. This position involves providing care in the Labor, Nursery, and Post-Partum Units of a critical access hospital. The role requires maintaining clinical excellence while supporting maternity women and newborns during their hospital stay.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN licensure to work as a Registered Nurse in Tennessee, ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications, a minimum of 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery, fetal monitoring experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: PALS, Centricity, and Meditech experience are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Float: Float rotation may be required as needed.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit includes 2 labor beds and 3 postpartum beds.
  • Patient ratios of 1:2, caring for maternity women and newborns.
  • Requires a positive attitude, cooperation, and initiative.
  • Orientation takes place weekly on Mondays.
  • Must demonstrate timely certification verification prior to start date.
