Position Summary

• Conduct a broad range of ultrasound exams, covering abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small part imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and security throughout procedures while explaining processes with empathy and clarity
• Work in collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure delivery of high-standard diagnostic images
• Manage imaging equipment effectively and report any issues quickly
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation within electronic health records
• Stay informed about advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Educational Background

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Necessary Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is welcomed
