Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Specialist to join our esteemed team of imaging experts. Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, including those for abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and vascular imaging
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process, clearly articulating procedures to ease any concerns
• Collaborate actively with radiologists and other medical professionals to ensure diagnostic excellence
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment, addressing any technical issues as needed
• Accurately log procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records in an electronic medical system
• Stay updated on advancements and best practices in ultrasound technology

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
