Insurance Defense Attorney

Job Description Our client, a regional firm with offices in Houston, is looking for an Insurance Defense Associate. Responsibilities Work on insurance coverage matters (bad faith claims) and insurance defense matters (hurricane damage docket and construction defect) Take depositions and argue motions in court Handle hearings and site inspections, and possibly take a deposition or EUO if needed Participate in a partner track with strong growth opportunity Qualifications Top 20%–30% of law school class with some litigation experience (experience in other practice areas acceptable) Willingness to learn this area of law and take direction Compensation Salary: $130k–$140k; Bonuses: $15k–$25k annually. Experience 2–3 years. Billable Requirement 2000 hours a year. Schedule 100% in office with flexibility.
