Roll Tender - 2nd and 3rd Shift

Summary:Our client in Beaver Dam currently looking for Roll Tender Operators on 2nd and 3rd shift! These openings are DIRECT HIRE! Roll Tenders work together with the Press Operators and Assistants to ensure smooth and efficient production by always maintaining an appropriate supply of roll paper stock to the press and performing other pressroom duties as assigned.Pay: $17-$20 per hour plus a $0.70 shift premium for 2nd shift and $0.90 for 3rd shift

Hours: Straight 8 hour shifts2nd shift 2pm to 10pm, Monday-Friday with occasional overtime on Saturdays

3rd shift 10pm to 6am, Sunday to Thursday with occasional overtime on Fridays

Responsibilities:Verify roll inventory number against job tickets

Record roll numbers and weight on roll log sheet

Prep rolls for splicer and stage rolls in appropriate location

Move rolls into position and hang rolls in splicer

Check oil levels in units twice each shift and fill as needed

Check overflow pans each shift; dump and clean as needed

Hang plates on the press

Help web press during make ready or web break

Return paper to inventory at the end of each job

Complete paperwork at the end of each job and each shift

Qualifications:Previous roll tender experience preferred but not required

Previous manufacturing experience required

Mechanical ability required

Must be well organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to multi-task
