Read More Job Purpose The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for the month-end close process, account reconciliations, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Technical and Corporate Accounting. Key Responsibilities Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial results Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation for assigned areas Monitor balance sheet and income statement accounts, investigate variances, and resolve accounting issues Review accounts receivable aging with shared service center to identify past due items and drive resolution Coordinate the annual budget and monthly forecasting processes for corporate functions Perform ad hoc projects as needed for the corporate accounting and corporate reporting teams Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal control requirements Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or Finance. 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in public accounting Master’s degree or CPA qualification is a plus SAP and OneStream experience preferred Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and communication (written and verbal) skills Strong initiative to improve processes and gain efficiency while maintaining objectives Good organizational skills Must be able to work in a team environment Highly driven / self-starter EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY PHINIA is an equal employment opportunity employer such that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
