Job Summary:
An Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) position is available in Crescent City, California. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care across a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The selected candidate must bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Crescent City, CA
• Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) all must be valid and uploaded with expiration dates
• Education/Experience: 5 years of ER experience required; candidates must possess a valid California State License and have at least 2 years of work history verified within the past 7 years
• Certifications must be from AHA (American Heart Association) or ARC (American Red Cross)
• Previous charge experience and travel experience are required
• EMR: Epic system experience is mandatory
• Skills include BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, central line care, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications administration, ABG interpretation, dysrhythmia interpretation, PPE and isolation precautions, vasopressor management, procedural sedation, and triage experience
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Submission Requirements: Recent Nursys licensure verification (within 2 weeks), applicable certifications, two references from within the last year, and work history documentation back 7 years
• Additional operational details include compliance with COVID-19 and flu vaccination policies, and availability for major holidays starting at 7:00 PM on the evening before the holiday through 7:00 AM the following day
