Physical Therapist Assistant - Skilled Nursing Unit Schedule This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Skilled Nursing Unit team. This position primarily focuses on providing therapy in a Skilled Nursing setting, with the possibility of covering acute care responsibilities in the Joint Connection Unit. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy interventions as directed by physical therapists. Assist patients with rehabilitation exercises and mobility training. Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in the MEDITECH charting system. Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care and recovery. Ensure a safe and effective therapy environment for patients. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC).
