Outpatient Therapist

Job Description

Linke Resources is recruiting for an Mental Health Outpatient Therapist for a Mental health program located in Kennett Square, PA.


The Outpatient Therapist provides support for people with mental health, substance abuse, intellectual and developmental disabilities. Report to direct supervisor, and other administrative staff as required, in a timely and comprehensive manner.

Responsibilities:

• Implement clinical service delivery goals consistent with overall agency goals and policy/procedures.
• Develop and oversee the implementation of treatment plans.
• Provide direct clinical service delivery as defined by the program description, best practice standards, and in full compliance with licensure standards.
• Provide quality services based on established best practice principles of care.
• Maintain quality documentation of clinical service delivery.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation, including but not limited to progress notes, treatment plans and discharge summaries.
• Provide quality services based on established best practice principles of care.
• Maintain professional relationship with clients, payers and community support service representatives.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with other local providers, client advocacy groups and client support systems.
• Participate in agency committees to develop and implement program/service enhancement.

Schedule: Part time and full time available.


Requirements:

Master's degree in a clinical discipline (i.e., clinical or counseling psychology, clinical social work) for mental health therapists. One year of experience in the behavioral health field for mental health therapists. Two years of experience working with clients with addictions for substance abuse therapists. License or certification preferred, but not required.
